General
The festival takes place on the last weekend of August. The next edition will be from August 28-30, 2026.
The main festival day is Sunday, August 30, when the famous group photo is taken.
Location:
The main activities take place at Spoorpark in Tilburg. This is also where the campsite is located. Other activities, such as the kick-off party and the Pub Crawl, will also be taking place in other parts of the city.
There is no minimum age for the festival. During the pub crawl, the minimum age is 18+ due to Dutch alcohol regulations.
Minors are welcome during the Kickoff, but no alcoholic beverages will be served to them.
If you would like to bring your child(ren), they are welcome. Please note that there is no electricity at the campsite and the campfire can last until the wee hours.
There are a limited number of lockers available at Redhead Days. These can be rented for a small fee from the festival camping reception.
Of course! We have many Redheads traveling alone. We strive to make everyone feel welcome, whether it’s your first or fifteenth time, whether you’re coming alone or bringing a whole group of friends. We have events like the Kick-off party and the speed meet activity. An ideal way to get to know your fellow Redheads. Stay up-to-date via our social media channels and website for more information. It’s also great to sign up as a volunteer! You can do so via this link.
Overnight stay
Yes, but places are limited. As long as tickets are still available, you can reserve a spot for your camper/caravan.
Please note that this is an additional ticket. A camping ticket (per person / for the number of nights spent) must be purchased for each person staying overnight in the camper/caravan. The camping ticket includes breakfast the next morning.
Absolutely! We have rental tents available, including air mattresses – but not including sleeping bags, pillows, etc.
You can also pitch your own tent.
More information can be found on our accommodation page.
By car you can navigate to Spoorpark 2 in Tilburg. Parking around the campsite/event site is scarce.
Therefore, we recommend arriving by train. The station is about a 15-minute walk.
Are you still coming by car? Then please take paid parking into account. On this site you can find out where paid parking applies and where it does not.
Restrooms will be available for regular visitors. Drinking water is also available from taps on the property.
Hot tubs are also available. These are only accessible with swimwear!
Showers are also available for camping guests.
You will find all accommodation options and information about them on the Accommodation page.
Tickets
The festival and many of its activities are free. The activities for which a ticket is required can be found in the webshop, in the activities category.
Have you bought tickets for the campsite or an activity, but are you unable to come after all? Of course we think that is a great shame!
If you know before the event starts that you cannot come, we can give you a refund.
Please let us know no later than Thursday evening before the event at 8 p.m.
After this time, we most likely won’t check our emails anymore and unfortunately, we won’t be able to refund your money because we assume your spot is reserved for you and therefore won’t sell it to anyone else.
The festival is free for everyone to attend! You don’t need a ticket to join us.
We do ask for a small fee for some activities and workshops (for example the Pub Crawl and Kick-off party).
You can buy digital tickets for these activities in the webshop as soon as they are available, as well as our official merchandise and digital tickets for the RED Camping.
You can also buy tickets during the festival, but they may sell out!
Accessibility
“A disability” is different for everyone. We do our best to be accessible to everyone! Do you have any special needs? In that case, it is always wise to contact us. We will then see what we can arrange.
There is one disabled toilet at the kiosk in the railway park (covered section).
Many of the activities take place in Spoorpark, Tilburg, where the campsite is also located.
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in this park. We apologize!
The only exception is official assistance dogs. They are allowed in the park. Assistance dogs must be clearly visible at all times.
You are responsible for cleaning up after them. There’s also a designated dog walking area nearby.
Please inform the organizers in advance (by email) that you’re bringing an assistance dog and explain its specific purpose. If something happens to you, we can also help you better
No, there is no low-stimulus environment.
Food & Drinks
Yes, of course. We do adhere to Dutch law. This means that alcoholic beverages are only served to persons over 18 years of age.
We also adhere to the rules; if we see minors consuming alcoholic beverages, we, as the organization and bar staff, are authorized to confiscate them.
Even if the bar staff believes a person has consumed enough alcoholic beverages, we will no longer sell them.
There will be several food trucks at the festival.
If you’re staying overnight or would like to join us for dinner, we recommend contacting us at ehbo@redheaddays.nl. There’s always something to arrange!
Please contact us with such questions at least 2 weeks before the start of the event.
That is possible, but the Redhead Days is a non-profit organization that runs entirely on volunteers. By purchasing food and drinks at the festival grounds, you sponsor our festival and ensure that we can organize another great event next year!
We use sturdy plastic cups! You can purchase these with your first drink and exchange them for a deposit token during the event so you don’t have to carry a cup around all day.
We don’t offer refunds on cups; you can take the cup home as a souvenir.
Volunteers
You can register to become a volunteer via this link
As a volunteer, you will receive a super cool volunteer shirt on the day of your shift!
Depending on the number of services you provide for us, you could receive a free overnight stay at the campsite (with your own tent) or a discount on a rental tent. There is also the option that you will receive a free dinner from us when you work multiple shifts.
It is not possible to say in advance exactly what benefits you will receive.
If you come to help set up on Thursday and take down on Monday AND/OR if you come to help all weekend, all day, you will receive a free overnight stay with your own tent (or a discount on a rental tent), free access to the parties and breakfast, lunch and dinner on us.
Safety
During festival opening hours, a certified first aid officer from a Tilburg-based first aid association will be present.
After festival opening hours, several organizers and security personnel are certified first aiders and can assist.
It’s very disturbing that this happened! During the festival there will be an are you okay phone available. The telephone number for this can be found on the posters on the festival grounds. This phone line is managed 24/7 by attentive staff who know who to contact in various situations.
You can also, of course, contact people from the organization at any time.
You can always bring your own medication. Do you have any medical problems that the organization/first aid team would be helpful in knowing about in advance? Examples: epilepsy, heart problems, etc. Please let us know via ehbo@redheaddays.nl with a brief explanation and preferably also include a photo of yourself and an emergency contact person.
Absolutely. Security will be present during the event’s opening hours and throughout the night.
