Welcome to the (new) website of the Redhead Days
This is where your journey to the world’s largest festival for redheads begins. Every year, thousands of redheads and redhead enthusiasts gather to enjoy a unique weekend of encounters, creativity, music, and, of course, the famous group photo.
Whether you have red hair yourself, are family, or are a fan; you are very welcome!

Great news for everyone who loves a carefree day out! We believe it is incredibly important that our festival remains truly affordable and accessible for everyone. While at most Dutch festivals these days you easily pay between €3.80 and €3.90 for a single drink, we do things a little differently. With us, you only pay €3 per token! This way, enjoying a nice drink or a bite to eat remains fun for everyone.
In addition to the wide range of free activities, shows, and entertainment you can already find on the grounds, we have made it even easier for you this year. Do you want to participate in one of the creative or active workshops? For those few workshops that charge a small fee for materials, you don’t need to make a separate debit card or fiddle with cash. From now on, you can pay super smoothly with those same festival tokens.
Get your tokens at the cashier, pull up a chair, and fully enjoy everything there is to experience.
Active people wanted!
The Redhead Days are organized primarily for and by redheads. However, non-redheads who have an affinity with redheads or would like to participate in our festival are also very welcome.
At the moment, we could still use help with hair braiding and are looking for artists for the open mic, models for the fashion show, and people who want to organize a workshop or other activity, or who have a fun idea for this.
So, if you are or know someone who would like to help with our wonderful event, please send your ideas to activities@redheaddays.nl
Wanted: Hair fairies with braiding magic!
Are you good with hair and do you have a soft spot for braids, curls, and sparkling hair accessories? Then we are looking for you!
During the Redhead Days, we want redheads to shine with the most beautiful braids, ponytails, and hairstyles, and for that, we are looking for creative volunteers.
Whether you can make a simple braid or conjure up a true work of art in the hair, all help is welcome!
Would you like to help out as a hairstylist for one or more sessions?

🎤 Seize the moment: Open Mic during the Redhead Days!
Do you dream of standing on stage? Or do you simply want to share your talent with an enthusiastic audience? During the Redhead Days, you get that chance on our open stage!
Whether you sing, play, tell stories, dance, or do something completely different – everyone is welcome. Surprise us with your act and make it an unforgettable moment together with the audience.
Practical information:
• Each act has a maximum of 15 minutes
• Advance registration is mandatory
• Participation is limited, so be sure to register on time

Iconic redheads fashion show
This year, the Redhead Days Festival has a special event! We are organizing a fashion show in collaboration with the sustainable fashion brand Vanihila.
Vanihila is a slow fashion knitwear brand that focuses on sustainability and colorful, feminine expression. A brand that connects people with their feminine qualities in a visually powerful way. Vanihila aims to inspire the wearer to lead a free-spirited and sustainable life.
Vanihila was founded by Nila ter Beek. The brand originated in Rotterdam in 2023. During her studies, Nila was confronted with the negative environmental and humanitarian impact of the current fashion industry. This inspired her to do better, to create a better future through craftsmanship and art, specifically for the female body.
We are looking for female models with red hair who want to participate in this special show and model during the fashion show.
Have you always dreamed of walking on a real catwalk, or do you already have experience and would you like to participate?

The show takes place on August 29 from 14:00 to 15:00 and on August 30 from 14:15 to 15:15.
A make-up artist will be present. See you then!

Shine in our world-famous group photo!
The highlight of the festival: on Sunday afternoon, all natural redheads gather for a big group photo!
This is also the only activity exclusively intended for natural redheads.

This year, the kick-off with the Kick-Off party will take place on Friday, August 28 at 8:00 PM. We will announce the exact location later.
We’re heading out on the famous Pubcrawl to visit super fun pubs!
The pub crawl takes place on Saturday, August 29. We gather at 7:00 PM at the Redhead Days festival grounds.

The color of 2026
The color of 2026 is Burgundy!
We ask you to wear a shirt/top/dress in the theme color during the big photoshoot on Sunday.
Naturally, we will be selling official merchandise in the theme color during the festival and on our webshop!
