Hans Dirksen-Smits is a Rotterdam-based musician and photographer. Although he has focused primarily on music since the early 1980s, photography has become increasingly important over time.
Both his music and his photographs reveal his appreciation for the ‘dark’ side of life. In his photographic work, he shows a side of the city and nature that people often ignore and reveals its unexpected beauty.
In recent years, he has increasingly specialized in atmospheric, sometimes dramatic portraits.

For four years in a row, he has created beautiful portraits of redheads, some multiple times, and this year he is back to portray you!
