FAQ
-
The festival takes place in the last full weekend of August, so the next edition will be August 23-25, 2024. The most important festival day is Sunday August 25 2024, when we take the famous group photo.
Location:
A lot of the activities will take place in Spoorpark, Tilburg, which is also where the campsite is located. Other activities will take place in the city centre (like the kick-off party and pubcrawl).Traveling to and staying in Tilburg:
If you live too far away to come by bike (although some of of our visitors cycle 100s of miles!), please come to our festival by train or by car together with other festival visitors, that is better for the environment and it is fun! How do you recognize fellow train travelers going to the festival? Duh, just look at them :)Find out more about traveling to and staying in Tilburg on this page.

The festival is free for everyone to visit! You don’t need a ticket to join us.
However, we do ask a small fee for some of the activities and workshops (e.g. the Pubcrawl and Kick-off party).
You will be able to buy digital tickets for those activities from the webshop as soon as they are available, as well as our official merchandise and digital tickets for the RED Campsite.
You will also be able to buy tickets during the festival, but they might sell out!

The theme color for 2024 will be GREEN! We’ve chosen a nice fresh shade for the shirts after we got so many requests during last edition.
We ask you to wear a shirt/top/dress in this color during the big photoshoot on Sunday. Of course we will be selling official merchandise in thie theme color at the festival and in our webshop.

Everyone, and you don’t need to be a redhead!
Many redheads come to the festival with family; even fans of redheads are welcome. The youngest participant to date was only two weeks old; the oldest was a Canadian woman of 85 years. There are activities for every age group.
One activity is exclusively for natural redheads: the big group photo shoot on Sunday.
Our house rules are applicable to all visitors.

A lot of the activities will take place in Spoorpark, Tilburg, which is also where the campsite is located. Unfortunately, they don’t allow dogs in this park, we’re sorry!

There are actually a couple of ways to help support the Redhead Days.
You can join our team or volunteer during the festival (which is a lot of fun!)
You can buy items or perks (donations) from our webshop. All proceeds will go to organizing more activities during RHD.
Help promote the festival so more people will join! You can order free invite cards from our webshop or share the festival on social media (#REDHEADDAYS).
Thank you so much!
