Umberto was born on the 3rd of June 1983 in Foligno in the province of Perugia. He is an electronics expert, and he began studying juggling and stilts as an autodidact in 2007, and attended theatre courses.
In 2008, he started teaching juggling and stilts in the street arts course "Academy Circus”. In the spring 2010, he joined the P.N.T. ATMO theatre company as an actor on stilts.

Portrait painter Bea Dame
Hello, I am Bea Dame, 65 years old. I have been painting and drawing with great pleasure all my life. However, the intensity has changed over time. Other activities then took priority. For a few years now I have been focusing on portraits, in which I portray not only people but also animals and trees. In portraits, skills come together to best represent what makes the person personal. That makes each portrait a new challenge.
Bea will be there during the Redhead Days weekend to take beautiful portraits, so sign up at her tent! For € 15,00 you will have a wonderful portrait!

Hello! I am Arjeta Mala, a visual artist with a passion for expressive portraits in soft pastel shades. Two years ago I was already working live on Redhead Day – and this year I will be there again!
My work was recently honored with a place in the Rijksmuseum, where my portrait hung for three months next to that of other selected artists, inspired by Rembrandt.
Have your face captured in a unique pastel portrait – warm, personal and with an eye for your character.
Normally you pay around € 200.00 for a portrait by Arjeta. Especially for the redheads you can take your portrait with you for only € 45.00! You can register and pay at Arjeta herself.

Photographer Hans
Saturday 12pm-3pm & Sunday 11am-1pm
Hans Dirksen-Smits is a musician and photographer from Rotterdam. Although he has mainly focused on music since the early 1980s, photography has become increasingly important over time.
His appreciation for the 'dark' side of life can be seen in both his music and his photographs. In his photographic work he shows a side of the city and nature that people often ignore and reveals its unexpected beauty.
In recent years he has increasingly specialized in moody, sometimes dramatic portraits.
The last three years he made beautiful portraits of redheads and this year he is there again to portray you!

Photographer Bert van Voorst
Saturday 3pm-5pm & Sunday 2pm-5pm
My name is Bert van Voorst (Enschede, 1953). I am a retired history teacher and have been active as a photographer for more than fifty years. For several years now, I have been devoting myself full-time to photography, particularly on long-term projects.
I completed a project with portraits of redheads in 2024, which was also published in book form. In March of this year, eighty of my photos were on display in ‘De Clossenborgh’ in Hilvarenbeek. Finally, I would like to mention the series of photos about the Tilburg carnival, which will be exhibited next year in the De Roos gallery in Tilburg and then in the Carnival Museum in Den Bosch.
I am currently working on a project about the healthcare sector in the municipality of Hilvarenbeek. With about a hundred portraits, I want to give a current picture of the people who earn their living in primary care every day. The aim is to capture these people in the middle of their daily work.

Fashion Show
Saturday 2pm & Sunday 2.30pm
A Celebration of Style and Power at the RHD Festival!
Step into a dazzling world of color, courage, elegance and athleticism!
During this impressive fashion show, red-haired models confidently enter the catwalk, dressed in the unique creations of The Two Sisters.
Each outfit by The Two Sisters tells a story that goes beyond fashion alone: the clothing is carefully crafted in India and contributes to a better future for women who live there under difficult circumstances. In this way, the power of style merges with the power of solidarity.
Be enchanted by sparkling fabrics, graceful silhouettes and the fiery energy of the models who convey this special message. This is not just any show — this is an ode to femininity, empowerment and global connectedness.
The anticipation starts at the website: www.the-twosisters.nl
This year, sportswear brand Fanatique Sportswear will also participate in the fashion show. Created by Danique Sterkens, a young entrepreneur with a passion for sports. Last year, Danique participated in the fashion show herself and this year she will provide the right guidance for the models.
Danique started Fanatique Sportswear because she couldn't find good quality sportswear that didn't tear during squats and sag during training. Fanatique Sportswear gives you extra self-confidence during every workout. You can visit the website at www.fanantiquesportswear.com and follow her at @fanatiquesportswear.
The clothes shown by The Two Sisters and Fanatique Sportswear are for sale after the show!
